Chavela Vargas said that Mexicans are born wherever the fuck they want. I would add that Mexico can be wherever the fuck it wants to be. With this text as a story I describe how singing karaoke in a seafood restaurant in Phoenix Arizona I discovered that Mexico is not a place, Mexico is not the land, nor the parents, nor the flag, nor the language. Mexico is a seed that breaks the border, blooms and expands.
